I can’t believe it’s not butter spray (12 sprays each bun)

1 lb 93/7 extra lean ground beef

Meat tenderizer, garlic powder, onion powder, dried mustard, paprika, pepper

Worcestershire Sauce and Liquid Smoke

4 Slices of a Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese

4 or 8 slices reduced-fat center cut bacon

Form the beef into four 4 ounce patties slightly larger than the bun, shape the patties similar to a hockey puck shape with a Divet in the center and higher ridges.

Pre-heat a cast-iron skillet on the stove medium-high. mix spices together and sprinkle over each side of Patty along with a couple drops of liquid smoke in Worcestershire sauce for flavoring. Rub patties with the back of a spoon to distribute evenly.

Pan fry bacon slices until brown and crispy. Cook beef patties on the same cast-iron skillet as the bacon and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side until medium (or desired doneness). during the last minute of cooking place the slice of cheese on top and cover to melt the cheese onto the patties.

Toast buns separately and spray each one side with spray butter. Build the burger by putting meat between the bread and sandwiching together.

Add toppings as desired such as ketchup, mustard, 1000 Island dressing, pickles, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, etc.
